Patrick Shearer

PATRICK SHEARER (Sound Designer)- is most often an actor, usually a producer, sometimes a director, and occasionally writes a play or two on the side. He recently finished directing a staged reading of Jonestown: The Musical by Brian Silliman and Larry Lees, and this will mark his fifth production with Nosedive. He has acted and directed in Los Angeles and NYC, and has studied with actors from both the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre in London. A graduate of Ithaca College, some of his favorite roles include Chris in Ruins, Young Boy in “The Awaited Visit”, Holofernes in Love’s Labours Lost, and Bonnefoy in The Imaginary Invalid. And yes, he sometimes puts together 2-hour underscores for plays about mayonnaise.
