ELIZABETH STEWART (Simone) has worked as an actress and producer in film and theater since studying at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting as an undergraduate at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has performed in original works in NYC including The Suicidal Violinists (The Brick Theater), The Business Proposal (American Theater of Actors), and Shakespeare Undiscovered (American Theater of Actors), in which she played Queen Elizabeth I. In 2002, Elizabeth produced the short film, Ladies, which she also wrote and starred in as four different women. Ladies premiered at the Washington DC International Film Festival, won best short film at the Pioneer Theater’s Short Film Slam, and was selected as a semi-finalist at the Moondance Film Festival in Colorado. Her first attempt at producing theater is Promised Land, performing May 27-June 11 at Stella Adler.
