| MELANIE
ADELMAN (Jovial Man/Martha/Woman) is happy as pie to be working with
the folks of Nosedive once again. She just finished a run of Martin
Charnin’s The Next-to-the-Last Revue having recently
completed the national tour of his Annie as u/s to Marcia Lewis’
‘Miss Hannigan’ (Theatre of the Stars). Some other things:
a stewardess turned alcoholic in Around the World in a Bad Mood
(Rose’s Turn), an Italian housewife turned activist in We
Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay! (Kitchen Theatre Co.) and
a movie studio executive turned Vampire in Nosedive’s Evil
Hellcat and the Liquid Lunch. She is proud of her involvement with
new plays at the WorkShop Theatre Co. and to have participated in the
critically acclaimed performance piece Angry Jellow Bubbles
at the NYC, Vancouver, Philadelphia and Orlando Fringe Festivals, as
well as various workshops at Urban Stages, Jewish Theatre of NY and
NJ Rep. Melanie is a graduate of Ithaca College. Happy Chanukah! |
