DUTCHER (Fred/Fan/Businessman) has had three ventures with BELL/BORG
plays, having played Stage Manager Tim in The Gay Naked Play,
the clean-cut theatre critic Brian Bradley in Bernadette and the
Butcher of Broadway, as well as the dirty-cut, ever horny waiter,
Mineral, in What the F**K?!. Most recently, Desmond was in
the one-act Markie 7722 at Emerging Artist’s Theatre,
where he is a company member, having performed in Tea and Biscuits,
Kvetching With the Virgin Mary (Jesus), Nils Torvald
(Godot) as well as designing sound for Claymont. Also a member
of TOSOS II, Desmond played the role of Gordon in Doric Wilson’s
Street Theatre last summer. Other NYC credits include The
Golden Girls, Live! (Rose Nylund), Nothing (Fool #3) at
the Ontological Theatre and various voiceover work. Regional credits
include: Gross Indecency (Bosie) and Love! Valour! Compassion!
(Ramon) at Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C., where he also studied;
Shear Madness (Mikey) at the Kennedy Center; and Pericles
(Pander/Thaliard) and Richard the III (Ratcliff) at the Washington
Shakespeare Company. |
