JAMES COMTOIS (PLAYWRIGHT)-James is one of the founding members of the Boston-based comedy group, "Slow Children at Play", for which he assisted with writing, producing, directing, and performing.  His first play, simply entitled "The Show," which he wrote, produced, stage managed and directed, was produced in 1997 at the Play Ground Playwright's Festival in Boston, MA.  The following year, his second play, "Monkeys" was produced as a staged reading in the same festival.  "Monkeys" was later staged as a full production here in New York at the Surf Reality House of Urban Savages in February of 2000.  Mr. Comtois is currently producing his latest play, "Allston," scheduled to open here in New York in November 2000.
